Assessing Group Process 2

Group Dynamics

Group dynamics refer to the characteristics of a group that result from the interactions of

group members (Toseland & Rivas, 2017). Group dynamics exist in every type of group from

family groups to task groups to treatment groups, and they contribute to group member cohesion

and satisfaction.

like each of us are very open so as to not misinterpret or be misinterpreted. Each of us

understands the delicacy of communication, especially when we are essentially strangers, so

early on in our meetings we made the effort to speak with tact and honesty and to always seek

clarification. I would classify our interaction pattern as free floating, meaning that each of us
