Introduction
Yuma High School’s“Criminal” Baseball fundraising event. This local fundraiser is
going to benefit the Yuma High School Criminal’sbaseball team. This event will allow the

players on the team, to bond together to raise money for the uniforms of their choice for the
upcoming season of 2021. It will show the students about completing goals, teamwork, money
management, and hard work practicesthey will need later in life.
Planning
The fundraising carwash will take place on Saturday, & Sunday January 30th-31st , 10:00
am until 4:00 pm. The Monday before the event the Criminal’s baseball team will have a
meeting with the parents and coach for details over the event. We will be asking for a minimum
of $10 per vehicle and tips will be greatly appreciated. The fundraising event will take place at
Tropical Carwash at the Foothills of Yuma. The carwash owner is more than happy to allow the
school students and the community to raise money for the Yuma High School baseball team. The
owner will provide towels, buckets, and allow the fundraising event use the automatic car wash
and the vacuums at half the cost of each wash. With the issue of the pandemic still a concern in
the town, mask will be worn at all times during the event. The customers will not have to get out
of their vehicles unless they want their car vacuumed. There is also a waiting area next to the
bays where the customer can wait if they would like, while their car is getting detailed. The
students will remain in groups of 4 and will maintain six feet apart from the other groups at all
times. The carwash has five bay’s that are separated by concrete walls. This will be the drying
and collection of money stations. In each bay the students will also be selling Yuma High
School’s “Criminal’s” Baseball apparel such as ( T-shirts, hats, and Sweatshirts). The money
raised will go towards new uniforms, equipment, sand bags for the field. Any of the funds left
will be used throughout the season covering travel cost, and supplying the team meals while they
are on the road. The parents and school have already agreed to pitch in for supplies such as
( soap, car air fresheners, and pizza for the students) during the event. The students have agreed
