On a cross-diffusion system arising in image denosing
We study a generalization of a cross-diffusion problem deduced from a nonlinear complex-
variable diffusion model for signal and image denoising.
We prove the existence of weak solutions of the time-independent problem with fidelity
terms under mild conditions on the data problem. Then, we show that this translates on
the well-posedness of a quasi-steady state approximation of the evolution problem, and also
prove the existence of weak solutions of the latter under more restrictive hypothes...

Artificial intelligence to automate the systematic review of scientific literature
Artificial intelligence (AI) has acquired notorious relevance in modern
computing as it effectively solves complex tasks traditionally done by
humans. AI provides methods to represent and infer knowledge, effi-
ciently manipulate texts and learn from vast amount of data. These
characteristics are applicable in many activities that human find labo-
rious or repetitive, as is the case of the analysis of scientific literature.

CASE REPORT HTLV-1-associated myelopathy in a solid organ transplant recipien
Human T-cell lymphotropic virus type-1 (HTLV-1) is
endemic in Japan, the Caribbean and in South American
countries such as Ecuador. This virus is the cause of
HTLV-1-associated myelopathy or tropical spastic
paraparesis (HAM/TSP), a myelopathy characterised by
chronic progressive paraparesis, spasticity and urinary
symptoms. We report the case of a 40-year-old man
who received a kidney transplant from a living donor
and developed HAM/TSP, 24 months after transplant.

Accelerated Superposition State Molecular Dynamics for Condensed Phase Systems
Introduction
Molecular dynamics (MD) simulation models the time
evolution of a given atomistic-level system by integrating
Newton’s equations of motion.1–3 Extensions to MD employ
dynamics described by a Langevin equation4–6 or variations
of the previous differential equations with additional param-
eters (e.g., friction coefficients) or degrees of freedom (e.g.,
Nosé-Hoover thermostats1,7–9 ). The integration of the
underlying equations of motion are limited in time; in fact,
