This was an essay for my capstone project class where we had to do a case study on the Morandi Bridge Incident in Genoa, Italy. It is an engineer's analysis of the flaws and decisions made that led to the incident. The guideline used for this analysis is based on the ASCE Code of ethics. The essay explains how the decisions made by the entities(people, institutions, etc) violated the ASCE Code of ethics and how it led to the incident

This is an essay that explores America's consumer behavior and how it impacts the US economy. It explores how their behavior has led to problems in the US economy which include credit card debt and low savings among Americans. In this paper, several solutions are offered to fix this problem including interest rates, tax reforms, and introducing reforms that incentivize companies to take actions that contribute to the US economy. It also explains how the behavior has benefitted the economy.

An essay/paper of my analysis of an artifact called Gandhara's Buddha's head in the Smithsonian Museum and its cultural aspects seen within its physical features. The essay explains how this artifact displays a synthesis culture of greek humanist beliefs and Buddhist ideology. It is an analysis that explains what information can be gathered regarding the culture that produced such an artifact.

An essay/paper on a case study of the Titanic's Sinking from the perspective of a reliability engineer. It explores how the ship's design and emergency system were flawed in terms of reliability. Finally, it suggests some changes that could have been made to increase the reliability and redundancy of the ship if a modern-day reliability engineer was in charge of the ships' design and system designs.
