Bed Planning Tabs
1. Unassigned = Bed not assigned. Can use the drop down chevron by ownership
to sort requests
2. Preassigned = Shows patient that have been targeted to a unit but do not have
a specific room or bed assigned yet
3. Assigned = Show bed requests that have been assigned a specific room and
bed. You can change, remove or cancel the assignment (select patient and right
click for menu options)
4. Completed = Show requests for patients that have been transferred or
admitted to the assigned room and bed
5. Postponed = Show bed requests that you have chosen to act on at a later time.
After a specific amount of time has passed, the request will return to the
unassigned tab to be acted upon (Deferred)
6. Upcoming = Show bed requests that don't require immediate action, but will
soon be ready to plan. Will move automatically to the unassigned tab when they
are ready to plan
7. Flight Tracker = Provides a comprehensive view of all the tabs in Bed Planning,
including canceled requests
