Update
Stalin, Japan and Germany Stalin agreed to enter the war against Japan after
the surrender of Germany.
Splitting of Germany and Berlin Germany was to be split into 4 zones and
given to GB, France, USA and USSR. Berlin was also divided as it was deep in
the in Soviet Zone.
War criminals As Allied troops marched through Germany, the horrors of the
Nazi concentration camps were revealed so consequently the Big Three (Stalin,
Churchill and FDR) agreed to hunt down and punish war criminals.
Free elections After nations were liberated from German control, it was agreed
that they could hold free elections to choose the government they preferred.
Set up the Polish Government of National Unity (but Stalin arrested anti-
communists).
UN The Big Three would all agree to join the new United Nations Organisation
which would aim to keep peace following the war.
'Sphere of Influence' Following the death of 20 million Soviets, Stalin was
worried about the security of the USSR, resulting in the USSR's 'sphere of
influence' over much of Eastern Europe.
