Adding Data from Data Manager - ANSWER Use the Plus symbol to add data (choice
between Data catalog and Files and other Sources) -> Navigate to Manual entry, drop
a file here or connect to a new data source. Choosing drop a file to open a file. Choose
file and a navigation with the preview of the table (file format, field names, delimiters,
Quoting ...) opens.
Bubbles in the data manager - ANSWER One Bubble is representing one table when
tables are loaded, they are generally not associated/related to each other. On the
recommended associations panel the recommended field for the association is shown.
Clicking and holding a bubble indicates green=very confident in reccomendation (or
other circles arround the other bubble(s)) Dragging one bubble over another creates
,an association. The Preview shows the matching fields (green colored) and the rest of
associated tables. To complete the association process, teh data has to be loaded.
An additional load statement will be created in the script editor. The Data model viewer
shows the connection between the tables through the Key field - to be identified with
teh key icon.
Recommended associations can be previewed and clicking on the links between the
bubbles shows the preview of teh associated key fields and associations. After
verifying the associations teh recommendations can be applied.
break the association - ANSWER By clicking on the link/association between the
bubbles and pressing the traschcan icon on the button of the sheets teh association
can be broken (first a window opens "are you sure you want to break this association"?
To execute teh change load data.
Manual entered table - ANSWER is presented as an unassociated bubble after first
load.
