Ligaments

thompsons test (also called simmonds) - ANS test for Achilles tendon rupture by squeezing the calf
lateral epicondylitis (Tennis elbow) - ANS overuse syndrome from excessive wrist extension and
repetitive gripping activities using thumb & first 2 fingers. Focal pain to lateral aspect of elbow.
Medial Epicondylitis (golfers, baseball or suitcase elbow) - ANS -Overuse syndrome from excessive wrist
flexion and repetitive gripping activities
•Rest, Ice, Use commercial elbow strap, NSAID's, ROM activities with PT, Steroid injections - ANS TM for
lateral & medial epicondylitis
fat pad sign - ANS Also called sail sign because of it's shape. Finding suggesting an occult, not directly
visible fracture.
