1. FOR AND AGAINST ESSAY (ventajas y desventajas)
Se argumenta a favor y en contra del tema propuesto de forma objetiva. La opinión debe
incluirse en la conclusión, posicionándose a favor o en contra.
▪ ESTRUCTURA
Introducción: describir el tema del que se va a hablar. Decir algo similar al título sin repetir sus
palabras ni dar ningún argumento.
Cuerpo: contiene dos párrafos, uno con argumentos a favor y otro con los argumentos en contra.
En cada párrafo, se añadirá un par de ideas de cada tipo, para que la redacción esté compensada.
De esta forma, se evita dar cuatro a favor y una en contra, por ejemplo.
Conclusión: resumen de las ideas y nuestra opinión clara.
▪ VOCABULARIO ÚTIL

En este ensayo damos nuestra opinión personal sobre un tema determinado, sin dar argumentos
a favor o en contra, sólo lo que pensamos nosotros.
▪ ESTRUCTURA
Introducción: presentar el tema o problema con nuestras palabras en general y añadir opinión
propia. Se puede incluir una pregunta retórica, anécdota o un hecho interesante o
sorprendente.
Cuerpo: argumentos defendiendo nuestra opinión con ejemplos. Uno o dos párrafos
dependiendo del número de ideas. A cada idea nueva, párrafo nuevo.
Conclusión: resumimos las ideas propuestas anteriormente (aspectos positivos y negativos) y se
deja clara nuestra opinión.
