Note: Sections A1 Explanation and A2 Compelling Argument are explained below
Section A: Blog Post At SMART, our employees are the heart and soul of our
non- profit organization. That's why we're committed to providing them with
the best technology available. As the world evolves, so do our practices, and
staying ahead of technological advancements is key. With the shift to
remote work, communication can sometimes feel like an endless stream
of emails, leading to burnout. Rahul (2021) rightly points out that we
compensate for the lack of in-person interaction by bombarding each other
with messages.
That's where Zoom comes in. Studies have shown that this communication
platform can effectively bridge the gap between our staff, offering a much-
needed alternative. But what exactly is Zoom? Founded by entrepreneur Eric
Yuan in 2011, Zoom started as a simple video conferencing platform. Over
time, it evolved to include features like chat rooms and whiteboards,
transforming it into a versatile tool for boosting productivity and
communication.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Zoom became popular as remote work
became the norm. Suddenly, organizations like ours had to find ways to
overcome the communication barriers physical distance poses. Zoom
emerged as a major player in this landscape, offering solutions not just to
companies but also to schools and other organizations.
Why should SMART consider adopting Zoom? As employees are working
remotely, meetings can be virtual and to have the best outcome and
platform for our employee virtual meetings, Zoom has great features that
meet our organization’s needs and can be helpful for our organization’s
productivity. Matt Torman (2000) Zoom Marketing Content Manager
published a blog about 5 Reasons Why Zoom Will Benefit Your Small
Business. In which he explained about:
1. Zoom is easy to set up, use, and manage
2. Modern Communication for your dispersed team
