officer is lawfully on premises
PO lawfully on premises may:
a) Establish crime scene
b) Exercise crime scene powers in accordance with this part

Section 89 (CS) - Crime Scenes - Answer- Application of Part to premises
1) This Part applies to premises of any kind - public or private
2) PO may exercise CS powers at a crime scene in a public place WITHOUT
obtaining a warrant
3) PO may exercise crime scene powers in relation to a vehicle, vessel or aircraft
that is within crime scene without obtaining a warrant
Section 89 Continued - Answer- Seizing, detaining or searching the vehicle, vessel
or aircraft without a warrant only if:
a) PO suspects on reasonable grounds that it is necessary to do so to preserve,
search for or gather evidence of the commission of the offence in connection with the
established crime scene
b) The PO is authorized to do so by a crime scene warrant or lawful authority
