should prepare an investigator's report; however, for minor violations, the sworn
supervisor may prepare a detailed memo at the discretion of the precinct/section
commander; a disposition form 185 should be forwarded up the chain of command for
review. The office of professional standards will notify the employee and the
complainant in writing of the complaint/ case disposition.
How long does the investigating supervisor or PSU have to complete an investigation? -
