The Author of this book is John green. The title
of the book is'' The fault in our stars’’’.
2. Two themes from my book - Max 150 words
Two major themes in the book "The Fault in Our Stars" are love and
mortality.
Love is an important theme in the book as it is the driving force behind the
relationship between Hazel, grace and Augustus. their love for each other
gives them the strengt to carry on despite their sickness and the
uncertainty of the future. John Green writes, "I'm in love with you, and I am
not in the business of deny myself the simple pleasure of saying true
things". This quote shows that love can be a source of strength and
comfort, even in the most difficult of situation.
Mortality is also an important theme in the book. The idea of the finitness of
life is a constant presence throughout the book, influencing the way Hazel
Grace and Augustus live their lives. John Green writes, "You don't get to
choose if you get hurt in this world... but you do have some say in who hurts
you. Page 150. This quote emphasizes that we may not be able to choose
when we die, but we do have control over how we live our lives and who we
allow to touch us.
