IELTS Practice Speaking Test
Hello, my name is Liz. I will give you an IELTS practice speaking
test. After the test, I will provide you with a link to model
answers for all the questions in the test. This test has three
parts:
Part 1: Interview
Part 2: Talk
Part 3: Answering questions about a world issue or
abstract questions
Before starting the test, you will need a pen, a piece of paper,
a recording device (e.g. your phone) to record your answers,
and a timer to control the time. The test should take no more
than 11 to 14 minutes for all parts.
Instructions:
1. Practice the question, by recording the ansdevice and
timer.
2. Read the question and answer
3. Part 1 should take no more than 5 minutes and has 12
questions.
4. After Part 1, there will be Part 2, where you will be given
one minute to prepare and then talk for at least one
minute but less than two minutes.
5. After Part 2, there will be Part 3, where you will be asked
between 5-6 questions.
6. Part 3 should last between 4-5 minutes.
7. Give long answers with plenty of details and examples.

Topic: Holidays and Traveling

Why do you think some people like traveling alone?
Do you think travel has changed much in the last few
decades?
