For this exam, I took an entire semester off from school and used that time to study for the TEAS
6. I did not waste my money on practice test A and bought the harder version, Practice test B and
scored 76%. From there, I divided the 4 sections and dedicated a whole month to them. August
was for Science, September was for reading, October and part of November was for Math and
English. I took December off because I felt I had learned everything I needed to know, and I did
not want to stress myself out. I would refresh on my worst subjects (Math and Science) during
the month of December when I had free time.
The Reading portion of the exam was very easy. I read the questions first and then looked for
the answer in the paragraph. I only chose answers directly related to what I was reading and
never chose answers based from my own knowledge of things. Always refer to the paragraph for
your answer. My study tools for the reading section were:
1. Carolyn McAllister
2. Mometrix Study Guide
3. Googling comprehension practice tests
4. ATI TEAS Accepted inc. Book (Amazon)
The Science Portion was very straight forward but entirely random. It was much easier than
practice test B and everything I studied was on my exam resulting in me getting an 83% in that
section. What deterred me from a higher score was the Life/Physical science questions so make
sure you are familiar with that and not just anatomy. My study tools for the science sections
were:

2. Mometrix
