With in 1960s and 1970s, critics believed that the present trend of arts promisedthe "death of painting," however this is far from the reality because painting hasn't
truly perished as an art form in modern art. Painting is my personal favorite of all
the art forms.
Paintings are the sole items of art in my house.
To start with, painting is perhaps the media which has remained most steadfastly
identified with tradition among all the others. Whenever you suggest painting to
someone on the street, they're probably thinking of realistic pictures like portraits,
still life, and abstract landscapes. The rationale for this is that this has been existing
eternally, and it's also due to the fact that almost all of the world's greatest artworks
– for example, Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, which has been around for
generations and demonstrates that works of art stay forever (Elephant, 2019).
