My answer was correct. Hypothyroidism is when your body doesn't produce enough hormones that keep the body temp, heart rate, and all things that have to do with your metabolism balance. The symptoms include cold sensitivity which means they would have low body temp. They would have weight gain because your body is not breaking down the fat and uses less energy and bradycardia (low hart rate). 5. Calcitonin is involved in helping to regulate levels of calcitonin and phosphate in the
blood, opposing the action of parathyroid hormone. I knew Calcitonin reduces calcium levels in the blood. I guess I was confused reading the question thinking that it was asking what it does which would be reducing. When the calcium levels in
