The aim of this policy is to (a) comply with the requirements of the Health & Safety at
Work etc. Act 1974 and other relevant statutory provisions; (b) to act as a pivotal
document in implementing Cygnet’s safety management system (SMS), following the
HSE’s HSG65 ‘Managing for H&S’ and (c) to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable,
a healthy and safe environment for all people who work, use or visit Cygnet’s premises.

 It is the personal responsibility of every individual referring to this policy to ensure
that they are viewing the latest version; this will always be published on
Cygnet’s SharePoint.
