I interviewed my cousin Stephanie she is a wife and a mother of two she seemed perfect
for this assignment. “I would say that my top three stressors would be one not having my mother
anymore that’s when things in my life started to get real for me. Which lead to and increase in
financial obligations being the third sibling I felt as if I took my mothers place when she passed.
Which increased my anxiety and anger towards my mother for leaving me and my siblings for
not picking up more of the slack. I felt like I had some big shoes to fill when my mother pasted
which was hard for me to cope with seeing that my father had pasted not only one months before
my mom.”
Stephanie stated “I have found that the way I deal or cope I like to write music singing,
rapping, reading and I really enjoyed designing clothes and modeling. I had to step away from
my siblings and let them grow up just as I did when our mother pasted. We are still close, but I
couldn’t continue to care for grown people I had met the love of my life and we had our first
child and setting a wedding date. It was my time to live for me and not my siblings.”
Looking from the outside in I would say Stephanie was dealing with so many emotions
during our interview, her talking to me brought back so many memories of her losing both her
parents and all the things she has accomplished in her life over time from letting go and starting
