Chapter 21- Peripheral Vascular System & Lymphatic System- Veins carry deoxygenated blood except the pulmonary & umbilical vein
- Arteries carry oxygenated blood except the pulmonary & umbilical artery

their hand after which you should only release the radial pulse. 3) Blood should quickly
re ll in hand. 4) Re-perform the procedure this time only releasing the ulnar pulse.
