Driving unregistered vehicle prohibited - No person shall drive or move and no owner or
motor carrier shall knowngly permit to be drive or moved up any highway any vehicle
which is not registerd in this Commonwealth unless the vehicle is exempt from
registration.
§ 1501 - answerDrivers required to be licensed
(a) GENERAL RULE - No person, except those expressly exempted, shall drive any
motor vehicle upon a highway or public property in this Commonwealth unless the
person had a driver's license valid under the provisions of this chapter. As used in this
subsection, the term "public property" includes, but is not limited to, driveways and
parking lots owned or leased by the Commonwealth, a political subdivision or an agency
or instrumentality of either.

(a) DRIVER'S LICENSE -Whenever any person after applying or receiving a driver's
license moves from the address named in the application or in the driver's license
issued or when the name of a licensee is changed, such person shall, within 15 days
thereafter, notify rhe department of the old and new addresses or of such formered an
new names and of the number of any license then held by the person. The department
shall be notified of a change of name in writing.

shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $200.
