What I am planning to use and that I have chosen to explore the Riverez family would be the

Ecomap and the Culturagram. I believe that the ecomap and the culturagram both will help

the Riverez family and direct them in a positive direction. The tools that I am choosing would

be great to analyze the family because it would show the positive or even the negative impact

on them. The article for ecomaps states, "Ecomaps demonstrate the flow of resources or the

lack thereof; they highlight the nature of the connections: the points of conflicts to be

mediated and therefore the bridges to be built and resources required to do so" (Kennedy,

2010). While finding the best option to help the Riverez family to see their relations to the

outside systems and the way they are and where this could be an impaction to them. I also

believe this ecomap could be the best to help and see what they have for their strengths with

one another and to show the family their needs and show us. While using the ecomap

assessment, Julio has commitment not to one but both jobs but that is only because it is

helping his family stay "above water." Looking further into their employment, these jobs do

not pay enough to help with the household in which is putting them into budgetary crisis and

difficulties. This also shows his health is more at risk because of the gunshot he sustained
