Caro Luigi, come stai? Ti piace Londra?
Io sono in Germania adesso, ti scrivo da Berlino.
Sono qui perché voglio visitare la città e voglio studiare il tedesco, devo imparare la lingua per il
lavoro.
Berlino è una città molto grande, interessante e varia, con molti pub, locali, musei e molte cose da
fare e da vedere.
Di mattina lavoro e la sera vado al corso di lingua, è un po’ noioso, ma i compagni sono simpatici e
gentili. Quando finisce la lezione, però la situazione è un po’ stressante, perché al bar, per strada,
al cinema, al museo tutti parlano così rapidamente e qualche volta non capisco niente. Non so
cosa fare!
Fortunatamente abito con due ragazzi tedeschi, Vincent e Mark che sono molto simpatici e con
loro passo molto del mio tempo libero.
Loro conoscono bene Berlino e così il sabato sera e la domenica andiamo in giro per la città. Ogni
giorno vediamo quartieri interessanti e proviamo a mangiare in posti nuovi; adesso conosciamo
molti locali e ristoranti del centro, ma quello che preferiamo è una pizzeria italiana, che prepara
una pizza eccezionale. Quando siamo stanchi di camminare andiamo in un parco a rilassarci e a
mangiare un hot dog oppure in un bar e beviamo un caffè o un cappuccino
Spesso la sera, Vincent e Mark vanno al cinema a vedere un film in lingua originale, ma per me è
troppo difficile perché non seguo i dialoghi. Preferisco restare a casa o cenare con i compagni di
classe.
Per fortuna tutti sappiamo cucinare molto bene e prepariamo i piatti dei nostri paesi, una vera
cena internazionale!
